NATURALISTIC ARRANGEMENT

Ally has planned and designed the florals for hundreds of weddings and events. In this session she will cover her techniques for designing arrangements for the table, using natural mechanics and a curated selection of seasonal materials in a delicious autumnal colour palette. She will demonstrate the practical methods for creating a low, luscious design for a table centre in a custom-made ceramic vessel that is yours to keep. We'll also discuss colour and shape, container choices for various dining styles, writing recipes for events and tabletop placement. Following the demo you will create your own composition with friendly advice and constructive feedback on hand.

BOUQUET

CLEM is teaching floral design and decorating luxurious weddings since 2017. her love for fine art and effortless designs matches with the outstanding château weddings taking place in France. she will show you her approach to floral design : she will lead you through her process for building a colour palette, to create a stable shape and achieve a light and airy feel to your bouquet.
after her demonstration and tips talk, you will design your own bouquet following clem’s guidance and you’ll be able to shoot it at the end through the eye of jess.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Jess has ten years experience photographing flowers, shooting on location to document our work for our portfolio and this past year for a book to be published by Thames & Hudson in spring 2026. In the afternoon session Jess will share her top tips for taking evocative, atmospheric photographs of arrangements, from placement and backdrops to working with natural light and editing. She will guide you through capturing your arrangement in camera, covering basic settings for manual photography including iso, aperture and shutter speed, with demonstrations on Nikon and Canon DSLRs as well as iPhone. You do not need a professional camera (a smartphone will suffice!) but are very welcome to bring whichever camera and lenses you feel most comfortable using.
